Miles at the Westin

The Westin is a dog-friendly hotel chain that we have stayed at twice. I think Miles appreciates the luxury even more than I do! Our experiences there have been fantastic.

Travel Gear

Last summer me and Miles' best friend packed up my little sports car and set out for the first trip ever with Miles. Our destination was a city, where we stayed in a nice dog friendly hotel. The trip was such a success that we decided this summer we had to do it again. I've got packing for Miles down for the car, the hotel room, and for wandering a new city (city walk post here). Miles spends the entire trip on our friend's lap - if I was traveling alone he'd be in his crate for safety. He loves exploring new areas and is very relaxed in the car and hotel. I am really excited for our upcoming trip.

Mischievous Miles

While hanging out in the backyard, I realized that:
- I had forgotten to put a screen back on a window
- Miles would inevitably find out.

He of course grew worried when he realized this portal to the indoors was not without its dangers - he isn't a big fan of unfamiliar heights.

Kiddie Pool

When it gets hot out, I bring out the kiddie pool. Miles isn't a big water dog, but he appreciates his little pool. Here are pictures from last year of Miles' first encounter with his pool.
