Last Sunday Miles and I attended our first ever agility fun match. We went with a few good friends from class, which made the whole experience really fun. The match was hosted by our training center DogSmart. It was extremely cold out, and inside the barn. I have been recovering from a very badly broken tailbone for a while and even though my doctor said not to, I went anyway and even ran. It felt like the right time to get out there and do our first fun match, there was no way I was going to miss out. As a guy in a movie once said, "pain don't hurt!" As for our performance, I was shocked that Miles didn't try to leave the ring, and his zoomies were far smaller and infrequent than any of us imagined. I remembered a lot more of the courses than I expected. Our little team of 3 people and 3 dogs (puggle, rescue doberman, welsh terrier) were a wild bunch, but we had a great time and I am very proud of us and our dogs.
